The Keurig Incident

Before I begin my next post I figured I should probably upload a picture of my family so everyone knows who i'm talking about. Here's a most recent picture from Christmas 2010
The order goes (from top to bottom) Bobby, Me, Danny
Mom, Kate, Jenna, Erin
Sara, Josh, & Father

Since i'm a new blogger (Thank you Jennie, Karin & Stephanie) I have to obviously catch you up with all the hilarious things that have happened recently.

So, I shall call this one the
"Keurig Incident"

So, its a few weeks after Christmas. My saweet boyfriend (Hi Sam!) gave me a Keurig Coffemaker for Christmas, and I have literally been obsessed with it. I make tea and coffee everyday and I keep it in the room that I've been sleeping in since I moved home, which is also the kid's TV and playroom. So, since the coffeemaker's home was so close to the children all the time, naturally they were curious. Joshua (who, let's be honest, is not the sharpest tool in the tool shed) had no idea what this new contraption was, since my dad is too old and boring to even THINK about getting something as modern as this.

Anyway, one night as the kids were watching a movie, I decided I wanted a nice cup of green tea. Joshua saw me messing with this curious machine and asked me if he could make it for me! Of course I let him because i'm probably the best big sister EVER, and he proceeded to pick up the tea cup, put it in the machine, and pull down the handle. When the blue lights lit up, he pressed the one I told him too, then sat in amazement as the tea began pouring right into the cup! I could see the sparkle in his eye...he was thinking to himself...wow, a machine..that can make tea or coffee for you...in an INSTANT! No mess, no hassle of waiting for the coffee brewer, instant coffee and tea for anyone, anywhere, anytime! (HAHA DAD! I WAS RIGHT)

As we sat there, he still stared at the machine and I was waiting for him to say something...as he began to open his mouth I was squirming with anticipation.

Josh- "REE! It's PEEING!"

Wait, what? It's "peeing?" My amazing coffeemaker was...peeing?
I didn't really know what to think of his response, so I blamed it on his immaturity and got a laugh out of it at the same time.
Oh, Joshua...some day you'll learn.

The Homeless Man

So, it was just a normal day in the Luciano household...but anyone who knows anything about our family knows that our normal is normal people's crazy. Anyway, I walk downstairs to get something from the kitchen and found a man, completely decked out from head to toe in clothes (including a hoodcovering, and hands shoved in his pockets) lounging on my mother's favorite leather chair.

My first reaction was to scream! Who was this homeless man sit
ting on my mom's chair? What did he want with our family? Was he armed? Was he going to attack?

Of course I remained calm because everyone knows I'm not a
dramatic person, but when the homeless man didn't move, I became very confused. He didn't even respond to my utter confusion, as obvious as it was! Then he finally spoke...

Homeless man - "What Marie?" (OH MY GOSH HE KNEW MY NAME!)
Me- "Who..what...DAD?"
Homeless man aka Father- "Uh, yeah? What do you want?"
Me- "I..I..I just...what are you doing?"
Father- "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm relaxing...just leave me alone."
Me- "Wow. Okay, I'll leave you alone, but first can you just do me a favor?"
Father- "What?"
Me- "Can you just not move for like 2 seconds? I have to go get something."
Father- "No Marie, just leave me alone."
Me- "Aw, come on Father just do this one thing for me please?"
Father- "Fine. But just promise to leave me alone after."
Me- "Promise Father!"

I proceeded (of course) to run upstairs and get my camera, after all, I needed proof of this strange yet hilarious event. After taking the picture my dad had just one thing left to say...

Father- "Marie, just promise you won't post this anywhere."
Oh Father, I promised you I wouldn't post this anywhere...but as they say, what they don't know won't hurt them :)
